TEACHING

As a teaching artist, I work with students of all ages to develop their unique artistic voices in a positive, empowering classroom community. Balancing joy and rigor, I meet each student where they are and playfully invite them towards the next step in their artistic development, always with the aim of building their agency within, and ownership of, their artistic process. I actively cultivate a learning environment in which all voices are heard and valued, and where the fullness of each student is welcomed and embraced.

Previous classroom and residency teaching experiences include Willamette University, University of Washington, Portland Center Stage, The Actor’s Conservatory and Young Musicians & Artists Camp. I have also taught short-term workshops in Singing for Actors, Movement, and Career Readiness for Shaking the Tree Theatre, the Viscerality Project and Willamette University.

I am passionate about helping individual artists define their creative missions and reach their goals. I am available for audition coaching, URTA preparation, monologue or scene study and more. Reach out—I’d love to support your work!
